THE SECRET OF RAISING MORE MONEY: THE IMPORTANCE OF STEWARDSHIP


Fundraising is all about relationships. Without them, organizations cannot expect to create and
maintain sustainable and significant fundraising efforts. Donor stewardship is the process that
occurs once a donor has given to your organization and a process to meet a donor’s gift intentions to create a long-term, mutually beneficial relationship. This one-hour workshop will outline important aspects to help you become a better steward of your donors. During our time together we will cover:
-The meaning of stewardship
-The cost for not stewarding your donors
-Understanding metrics to measure stewardship
-Who is responsible
-How to build greater connections
-Creating a donor stewardship program

This workshop will be an interactive learning experience that will help you learn skills to be a
more successful fundraising professional.

Business Adminstration (BA), both with an emphasis in Management.
